	C osta Rica is a small country located in Central America between Nicaragua and Panama and is one of the most-visited international tourist destinations. One of the main reasons for this is the country’s tropical climate and geographical desirability, which ranges from green mountain rainforests to gorgeous beaches on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. A democratic and peaceful country—Costa Rica has not had an army since the year 1949—its people are friendly and extremely educated.

San Jose is the capital of Costa Rica, and the city is located in the beautiful valley. It is surrounded by the some of the world’s most popular coffee, grown in the mountains. With 6% of the existing biodiversity of the entire world found in Costa Rica, it makes sense that the country protects more than 25% of its territory. At the same time, Costa Rica has a high standard of services and technology to compete in the modern world. The government openness have allowed multi-national companies such as Acer, Microsoft, GE, Abbot Laboratories, Continental Airlines and Intel Corporation to make sizable investments here.
