Descriptions
The Ara Macaw, is one of most beautiful birds that lives in Costa Rica, measure about 84 cm, and weigh 900 grams. It has an unmistakable plumage multicolor , and most of the body is red. His wings present colors form blue to yellow, and his beack is robust and big and it is white of above and black in the part of down. The iris of the eye is yellow, and his skin face is white with pink, and their legs are of a gray color. The Ara Macaws are part of list of species that are monogamous which means that they maintain their couple forever.
Feeding
They used to feed fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Distribution
From the south of Mexico to Peru, Bolivia and eastern of Brasil. In Costa Rica in Carara, in the Peninsula de Osa, Guanacaste, and the northwest of the Caribbean.
