Descriptions They get to measure about 43 cm, and weigh 210 g. It is a small heron, and their legs are of a shinning yellow. When they are adults have a crown and dishevel crest of black color, it is reddish brown neck and in its throat a ray in the middle of white color, and most of the body is green. Feeding They feeding on insects, and smalls fish near fresh water marshes, lakes, rivers, etc. Distribution They nests from the south of Canada, to the East of Panama, and they hibernate from the south of Colombia to Venezuela.
