The closest international airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Guanacaste, approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes from the resort by car. San José's Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) is also an option, but the drive is approximately 4–5 hours. For most international travelers, flying into LIR is strongly recommended.

Tamarindo is approximately 280 km (175 miles) from San José, which translates to about 4–5 hours by car via Route 1 (Interamerican Highway) and Route 155. The most convenient option for guests flying internationally is to use Liberia Airport (LIR), which reduces ground transfer time to under 90 minutes.

Yes. The resort offers a private shuttle service from Liberia Airport (LIR). The rate is approximately $125 USD for a private transfer for 1–5 passengers. There are 4 outdoor pools plus two whirlpools. The Beachfront Pool offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and is steps from the beach. The large Lagoon Pool in the Family Section is the biggest in the area and features a waterfall, whirlpool, and a tiki-style swim-up bar, surrounded by tropical gardens and pre-Columbian sculptures. The Quiet Pool is located within the Adults-Only Tropicana area and features daybeds and a dedicated swim-up bar. There is also a Children's Pool adjacent to the family area.

Playa Tamarindo is generally considered safe for swimming, though ocean conditions can vary day to day, as with any Pacific beach. Guests are encouraged to check posted safety flags and follow any guidance from lifeguards or hotel staff before entering the water.
