The Perfect Resort

We’ve been to the Diria three times now, along with numerous other resorts throughout Costa Rica, and we’ll always come back — it’s the perfect balance of quality, five-star service, and great value.
It’s located within walking distance of everything you could want.
We ate four nights in a row at the Pelican Restaurant across the street — amazing food, prices, and service.
Can’t wait to return!

Wedding Bliss

I was there for a wedding — a beautiful, classy event. The setting was flawless, with wonderful food, a great setup, and excellent service. The music was fantastic, and the flower arrangements were over the top. The wedding planner deserves five stars!
The wait staff and front desk team were friendly and efficient, always greeting us with a smile. Housekeeping was also top-notch.
Our room was bright and clean. The pool was well-maintained and relaxing, and the grounds were beautifully kept.
The breakfast selection was extensive, with both a buffet and made-to-order options.
I highly recommend this hotel for any event. We loved our stay.

A Great Wedding Destination

We came here for a wedding. The front desk staff was super friendly when we arrived and made sure we got a room close to our friends.
We loved our balcony and enjoyed watching the sunsets from there. The pools were clean and comfortable.
The bartenders at the various bars were friendly and served great drinks.
The breakfast buffet was top-notch — I especially enjoyed the made-to-order omelets and pancakes/waffles.
Tamarindo Diria was Pura Vida for sure.

Great surf lessons!

Ask for Fabian (at the surf shack)! He’s incredible — he helps guide you to the best spots when you’re tired from paddling out. They offer complimentary pineapple and even provided us with face sunscreen.
Great location for a resort, too. 
If you’re looking for fewer crowds, head to the interior pools.

We spent our last day sunning in the garden and swimming

We truly enjoyed the final day of our 3-night stay here. The staff has been extremely friendly, and Brenda made our time in the garden especially relaxing.
The hotel was spotless and had everything we needed. This was the final stop of our vacation, and we stayed in beachfront rooms where we woke up to ocean views.
I would definitely stay here again. They’re currently renovating the lower rooms, so it’s going to be even nicer.
The breakfast buffet is great—I hope you enjoy it here as much as we did.

A Place for Total Relaxation

This is our fourth time staying at the Tamarindo Diria, and we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when in Tamarindo.
The staff is incredibly gracious, and the oceanfront breakfast may be one of our all-time favorite vacation experiences.

Wonderful

I went solo this time, but I’ve been here a couple of times with my children. We LOVE this hotel.
You can’t beat the location, the included breakfast, and the pools. On one side, you have the most spectacular oceanfront gardens; on the other, an amazing large pool with a swim-up bar.
Although I love dining on their oceanfront terrace in the shade of beautiful trees, the town is just steps away, with many restaurants, shops, and nightlife within walking distance.
This hotel is perfect whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with children. Hands down, your best choice in Tamarindo.
Other hotels of this caliber in Tamarindo don’t offer such a convenient, walkable location to both the beach and town.
